What. A. Day!
We're still thinking about our GOTR Spring 5K at Polar Park, and for good reason. Our GOTR girls absolutely crushed it and proved to themselves that they can do anything they put their minds to. This is an achievement we'll never be done celebrating! These girls worked so hard all season long, strengthened their friendships, became impactful leaders in their community, and activated their star power. Congrats, girls - you did it, just like we knew you could!
Our GOTR Worcester County staff wants to thank every volunteer, family member, supporter, and Polar Park staff member who made this day possible. Because of you, our GOTR girls had the best, most memorable morning!
Check out some of our favorite pictures from the big day.
Our Worcester Burncoat H&S team posed with the beautiful Card My Yard display, which was graciously donated by Card My Yard Holden to brighten every GOTR girls' morning!
Stephanie, a rep from our national partner Thirty-One Gifts, graciously raffled off some Thirty-One goodies!
A fan-favorite of the 5K morning is always our Happy Hair station! This year it was led by Studio East, and we thank them for pampering our GOTR girls before they took off for the finish line!
This GOTR girl is looking super strong & confident in every color under the rainbow!
Our mascot dance-off may have been a tie between Woo Sox mascots Smiley Ball and Woofster, but we've got to say - we think Smiley Ball gives the best hugs :)
Raise your hand if you're ready for this race!
Hi-fives all around - this GOTR girl & dad duo were all smiles at the finish line.
Grab your GOTR besties and get ready (psst... registration for our Fall season opens August 1st, so get ready for another season of the GOTR practices you love, this time with new confidence-building curriculum!)
